The Council are delighted to announce that Bescot Promotions Ltd have been appointed as the new street market operator in Cannock for the next 3 years.
Following a competitive tender process run by the Council, Bescot Promotions Ltd will take over the management of the street market from E G Skett & Co.
Bescot will be in the Town Centre promoting the new market on Monday 23 November on Market Place between 9am and 1pm. They wish to invite all existing Cannock street market traders and potential new traders to come and meet with them and sign up to the new relaunched market. This meeting will be held in accordance with the current social distancing guidelines and in a COVID-19 secure environment.
For any traders that are unable to make it into Cannock on Monday morning, Bescot have put together an email package that they can send out giving interested traders all the information that they will need.
Subject to Government COVID-19 guidance allowing the re-opening of non-essential retail at the end of the current lockdown, the first relaunched Bescot street market will be held in Cannock on Friday 4 December and will then run every Tuesday and Friday from 9am until 4pm.
