Cannock Chase Council in collaboration with Cannock in2 Work Group and Job Centre Plus are hosting a jobs fair in Cannock this month.
The jobs fair will be free for everyone and aims to bring together jobseekers and providers with vacancies and give them the chance to talk about any employment opportunities available.
Councillor Gordon Alcott Portfolio Leader for Economic Development and Planning said “We are looking for local employers, who have any job or apprenticeship opportunities to exhibit at our jobs fair.”
“Exhibitors will not only get exposure to local people, schools and colleges, but will also get the chance to network with other organisations, all under one roof.
More than 350 people and over 40 exhibitors attended our jobs fair last year, so I would urge employers and job seekers to take advantage of this free event.”
The jobs fair will take place in the Civic Centre on Beecroft Road on Wednesday 27 September between 10am and 1pm.
Employers interested in exhibiting free of charge at the jobs fair, or interested in offering employment opportunities for promotion on the day should contact the Economic Development team on 01543 464272 or email econdev@cannockchasedc.gov.uk by Friday 22 September 2017.
