Cannock Park Golf Course will re-open this Saturday 23 May with strict safety measures in place to protect the players.

The course will open on Saturday 23 May from 8am until 6pm by advance booking only, there will strictly be no turn up and play.

There have been a number of changes made to enable the course to open under the current government guidelines.  These include:

  • Advance booking only. Strictly no turn up and play.
  • 2m social distancing at all times.
  • Two members of the same household per tee.
  • Ball stops in place.
  • Tee times will be every 10 mins to prevent queues.
  • No touching the flags.
  • No rakes.
  • No hire equipment available. Please bring your own clubs.

Councillor Christine Mitchell, Portfolio Leader for Culture and Sport said “The course will be open from Saturday with strict measures in place, to ensure that we keep players and staff safe.  We would ask that anyone wanting to play familiarises themselves with the changes implemented before they arrive and to note that if they have not booked in advance they will not be allowed to play.”

Tee times for this weekend are for season ticket holders only. All other visitors will be able to play from Monday onwards.

You must book your game online in advance. There is no turn-up and play option. A new online booking system goes live today (Friday 22 May) at 7am, so you can book your tee time in advance from then.

All members have been contacted directly.

From Monday pay as you go customers will be able to book at:  https://www.brsgolf.com/cannock/visitor_home.php

Course opening times will be from 8am – 6pm every day.
