Cannock Chase Council’s Cabinet approved at its meeting last night to launch a loyalty website and discount app in the District.
Residents in Cannock Chase will soon be able to download the free Good Life Deals app and start taking advantage of offers and deals from a wide range of local businesses.
The aim of the initiative is to support local businesses by encouraging people to buy local, accessing information on deals through the app and website.
The Good Life app was launched by South Staffordshire Council in December 2015 and Cannock Council will join this already successful initiative.
Councillor Diane Todd, Portfolio Leader Town Centre Regeneration said “People are increasingly shopping online and websites that give discounts and special offers are very popular.
The app and website will not only benefit residents and tourists visiting the District but will also be of great benefit to local businesses that currently trade with the public.
It really is a great way to save money, support local business, and earn cashback from your online purchases.

The free app will be available to download on both android and apple smartphones and tablets and will be accompanied with a website.
There will also be an additional facility which will enable residents to save money by earning cashback on online purchases at over 4,300 retailers through Topcashback.
It is expected that the app will be available to use by the end of August.
