Cannock Chase Can will be supporting Hednesford in Partnership this year in hosting the town’s annual festival.
Officers from Cannock Chase Council and Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles (IHL) are working closely with Everyone Health to showcase the district’s health and wellbeing offer.
Hednesford Festival will be held on Saturday 12 August, 11am until 4pm in Hednesford Park.
The Cannock Chase Can zone will provide live entertainment throughout the day along with the opportunity to speak to health professionals and local wellbeing services. It will also showcase the brilliant facilities and outreach work Inspiring Healthy Lifestyles deliver.
Everyone Health will also be offering free health checks as well as providing healthy lifestyle advice and support to the community, giving people the tools they need to live a happy, healthier life.
New wellness challenges will be available to take part in on the day via the Cannock Chase Can App including the new Cannock Chase Can Dance and Everyone Health’s Fruity Facts Trail.
Local school children from four local primary schools have been working with a local dance provider to perfect the Cannock Chase Can Dance which will be performed on the day.
Visitors to the festival are encouraged to download the app and practice the dance prior to the event.
