Hednesford Park’s ‘Parlour at the Pavilion’ will open its doors this Saturday (11th June 2016) at 10am.
The ‘Parlour at the Pavilion’ is an ice cream parlour, sandwich shop and coffee bar, that will target families and serve an artisan fresh dairy ice cream menu, sandwiches, savouries, afternoon and cream teas, cakes and bakes.
The American milk bar themed parlour can seat up to 28 covers inside and has additional seating on the outside terrace; with the kiosk operating at peak times to speed up the service for park visitors.
Councillor Christine Mitchell, Portfolio Leader for Culture and Sport said “I am delighted that the ‘Parlour at the Pavilion’ will open this weekend.
Parents will be able to enjoy a drink in the America milk bar themed parlour whilst the children enjoy the park and all of the new facilities on offer.
Councillor George Adamson, Leader of the Council said “It is great news that the ‘Parlour at the Pavilion’ will open on Saturday. The transformation of the park just keeps getting better.
Residents of Hednesford have a park and facilities to be proud of.”
The renovation work on the pavilion is part of the £2.2m Heritage Lottery Fund Grant received for the development of Hednesford Park in 2012.
