Cannock Chase Council in collaboration with Job Centre Plus and Chase Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a jobs fair in Cannock this spring.

The jobs fair will be free for everyone and aims to bring together jobseekers and providers with vacancies and give them the chance to talk about any employment opportunities available.

Councillor Gordon Alcott Portfolio Leader for Economic Development and Planning said “we are looking for local employers, who have any job or apprenticeship opportunities to exhibit at our jobs fair.

Exhibitors will not only get exposure to local people, schools and college, but will also get the chance to network with other organisations, all under one roof.”

It will take place in the Civic Centre on Beecroft Road on Thursday 19th May between 10am and 2pm.

Employers interested in exhibiting free of charge at the jobs fair, or interested in offering employment opportunities for promotion on the day should contact the Economic Development team on 01543 464272 or email econdev@cannockchasedc.gov.uk by Friday 15th April 2016.
