Cannock Chase Council is calling on residents to help shape the future of local climate action by joining its new community panel. This initiative invites passionate individuals to collaborate on solutions that will drive meaningful environmental change across the district.
Residents interested in making a difference are encouraged to attend one of the upcoming recruitment sessions to learn more:

Rugeley Community Church Centre
The Community Climate Change Panel is designed to bring together diverse voices from across Cannock Chase to collaborate on innovative ideas and projects that support the district’s climate goals. Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside council members and other stakeholders to help shape policies and initiatives that promote sustainability and reduce carbon emissions. The work undertaken by the panel will also inspire others in the community to make positive changes in their own lives and contribute to a collective effort against climate change.
Councillor Lisa Wilson, Portfolio Leader of Environment and Climate Change, said: "Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, and it’s crucial that we work together to address it. By joining the Community Climate Change Panel, residents can play an active role in creating solutions that benefit everyone in Cannock Chase. We encourage anyone with a passion for sustainability to come along to a recruitment session and see how they can contribute."
