Let’s Grow Programme helps 3 more local businesses to expand

Preece Burford Ltd, Zunsport Ltd and S4J Ltd have all secured ‘Let’s Grow Programme’ grant funding of up to £5,000 to help grow their businesses and create new jobs in the future.

Preece Burford Ltd, supplier of architectural ironmongery/hardware is using its grant to purchase a new piece of machinery, which will increase productivity and efficiency within the business.

Zunsport Ltd, Manufacturer and seller of automotive after market stainless steel car grilles is using its grant to make their website bi-lingual, increasing their markets to France and Germany.

S4J Ltd, constructors of precast concrete buildings is using its grant to purchase a new vehicle to transport students of their new training courses to on site training and workshops.

The ‘Let’s Grow Programme’ has to date successfully helped 14 businesses in Cannock Chase.

Councillor Gordon Alcott, Economic Development and Planning Portfolio Leader said “I am delighted that these local businesses have been successful with their grant applications. These applications are great examples of how the programme can help local businesses to grow.”

Paul Newton Financial Controller at S4J said “The funding we received from the ‘Let’s Grow Programme’ has allowed us to purchase a new vehicle. This will be used to transport students for training and workshops and will be a great addition to the business. We are really pleased with the support we have received from the Council and the whole application process was very quick and easy.”

The ‘Let’s Grow Programme’ is part funded by Chase Community Partnership and is aimed at helping small to medium sized businesses in the Cannock Chase District to grow and expand.
