Two more businesses in the Cannock Chase District have expanded, thanks to the Let’s Grow Programme.
Hednesford and Norton Canes based companies: Syco Graphix and PC Paramedics have both secured ‘Let’s Grow Programme’ grant funding of up to £5,000 each, to help grow their business and create new jobs.
Syco Graphix a designer, manufacturing sign writer based in Hednesford are using the grant to add a mezzanine floor to their unit, updating their website and they will be employing an apprentice.
PC Paramedics, a technology company based in Norton Canes, which provide a range of IT services including technical support are using their grant to proceed with a new marketing campaign to increase business and clients.
The ‘Let’s Grow Programme’ is part funded by Chase Community Partnership and Cannock Chase Council and is aimed at helping small to medium sized businesses in the Cannock Chase District to grow and expand.
Councillor Gordon Alcott, Economic Development and Planning Portfolio Leader said “The Let’s Grow Programme has helped 15 businesses to expand and grow in Cannock Chase. It is great news to hear that another two businesses have benefited from this money and not only expanded but taken on an apprentice. I would urge any small to medium sized businesses to contact the team to see if there is any funding available for them.”
Paul Dadge, Managing Director at PC Paramedics said “We are delighted to have received this funding; it has helped us to increase awareness of our brand and services, in doing so growing the business and the ability to take on additional staff. We have received assistance throughout the process from the Economic Development team who have been extremely supportive. I would encourage any business who are looking for a helpful stepping stone to contact the team to learn more.”
The ‘Let’s Grow Programme’ has to date successfully helped 15 businesses in Cannock Chase.
