A public meeting will be held in Cannock on Monday to discuss current performance issues on the Chase Line which connects Rugeley, Hednesford and Cannock with Walsall and Birmingham.

The meeting follows a request from Council Leader, Councillor George Adamson, to West Midlands Trains to give residents using the line the opportunity to discuss their concerns in person with rail company managers.

West Midlands Trains representatives will be at Cannock rail station from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Monday 2 September. They will be joined by Cllr Adamson and the Chair of Cannock Chase Rail Promotion Group, Keith Fitch.

The meeting is open to anyone who uses the service or with an interest in it, whether they travel to Cannock, Hednesford or one of Rugeley’s two stations.
