Residents are invited to attend a public drop-in session on Wednesday 22 October, from 6pm to 8pm at Heath Hayes Library, to share their views on the future of Heath Hayes Park.

The event is part of ongoing community engagement led by Cannock Chase Council, following an initial consultation held over the summer. It offers an opportunity for local people to review the masterplan proposals, ask questions, and contribute feedback before any changes are made.

To help manage attendance, the evening will be divided into four 30-minute sessions:

6:00pm – 6:30pm    6:30pm – 7:00pm
7:00pm – 7:30pm    7:30pm – 8:00pm

Residents are encouraged to book their preferred time slot by emailing the Parks and Open Spaces Team at parksandopenspaces@cannockchasedc.gov.uk.

Questions about the development can also be submitted in advance by Friday 17 October to the same email address.

Councillor Garry Samuels, Portfolio Leader for Parks, Culture and Heritage said: “Heath Hayes Park is a valued green space, and we are committed to ensuring its future reflects the aspirations of the local community. This session is an important opportunity for residents to help shape a masterplan that supports wellbeing, biodiversity, and inclusive access for all.”
