The Council measures performance in achieving the priorities set out in the Corporate Plan through monitoring progress in the delivery of the projects set out in the Priority Delivery Plans (PDPs). In addition to this, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are used to measure performance on aspects of the Council's operational service delivery.
Performance is reported quarterly to the Cabinet and the relevant Scrutiny Committee - typically performance is reported as follows:
- Quarter 1 - April to June - reported in August/September
- Quarter 2 - July to September - reported in November/December
- Quarter 3 - October to December - reported in February/March
- Quarter 4 - January to March - reported in May/June
