- Events taking place across Cannock Chase District
There are several events taking place across Cannock Chase District and these are listed below.

- Saturday 26 April, Hednesford Lions are organising a spring tidy up of Hednesford Memorial ready for the anniversary.
- Thursday 8 May, Hednesford Town Council and Staffordshire Regimental Association Hednesford Branch will be organising a community event, 1.30pm - 5pm in Anglesey Gardens, Market Street, Hednesford. This will include entertainment, free refreshments, and a commemorative service.
- Thursday 8 May, Cannock Chase Council will be hosting a flag raising ceremony at 9am outside the Civic Centre to mark the start of the commemorations, followed by a service in Cannock Town Centre at the Cenotaph at 10am The service will be led by Reverend Steve Reynolds from St. Luke’s Church.
- Thursday 8 May, Norton Canes Parish Council will be organising a community event at Norton Canes Community Centre, 7pm - 9.40pm which will include music, entertainment, refreshments, and a beacon lighting at 9:30pm.
- Saturday 10 May, Our Cannock will be hosting a community event, 12noon - 5pm and will include popcorn, candy floss, a rifle shooting alley, test your strength, cargo net and face painting.
- Saturday 10 May, Heath Hayes Parish Council will be holding an event in Heath Hayes Park, 12noon - 5pm which will include music and lots of free things for children.
- Treasured Times will be visiting local care homes and the Council’s Independent Living Schemes during May with a professional entertainer.
