Cannock Chase residents are being urged to check their electoral registration details or risk losing their chance to vote on decisions that affect them.
The annual canvass form allows the Council to keep the electoral register up to date, and to identify who risks losing their vote at the elections, to then encourage them to register before it’s too late.

Businesses in Cannock Chase District are being supported to Go Digital and transition to Net Zero under new government-funded projects to be delivered by Staffordshire University.
The fully funded Go Digital Accelerator project will support 16 SMEs who wish to adopt digital technologies or develop new digital products and services.
The 16-week project will involve an Innovation Advisor and Innovation Consultant – usually a trained student or graduate – who will tailor their support to meet bespoke business needs.

Cannock Chase Council is supporting the national Keep Britain Tidy campaign ‘Love Parks Week’.
The annual campaign runs from 28 July to 6 August and celebrates parks, green spaces, and the dedicated volunteers and Council staff that look after them all year round.
In Cannock Chase District we are lucky that we have dedicated volunteers that provide free community activities and events, as well as help the Council to maintain our parks and open spaces and ensure they thrive with all year-round activities for the local community.

Local schoolchildren and community groups have helped design a new eco arts trail to encourage more people to go outdoors and explore their local green spaces.
The Bug Explorer Trail is located around the Cannock Chase Stadium site on Pye Green Road and incorporates five art pieces depicting insects that can be found on Cannock Chase.

While all employees have been offered positions at the new Sutton Coldfield facility, several hundred live locally those who choose to look for opportunities locally will be helped to find new jobs in Staffordshire.
