Step into the stories, history and natural beauty of Cannock Park with the new Cannock Park Heritage Trail.
Created as part of the ongoing improvements to Cannock Park and Cannock Park Golf Course, the trail invites visitors to explore the park in a new and interactive way. A series of interpretation panels located throughout the site reveal fascinating facts about the area's heritage, wildlife and landscape, helping to bring the park's past and present to life.
The project has been developed by Cannock Chase Council in partnership with the Friends of Cannock Park and the Forest of Mercia, creating an engaging visitor experience that celebrates the park's rich history, thriving natural environment and strong community connections.
As an added feature, the Cannock Park Heritage Trail links into the wider Cannock Chase Heritage Trail, giving visitors the opportunity to continue their journey beyond the park and into Cannock Town Centre. Together, the routes help tell the story of the area, connecting key locations, landmarks and historical points of interest across the town.
