Housing Options / Homelessness

House keys

The Housing Options Service aims to prevent people becoming homeless by providing advice and assistance to help people find a solution to their housing problem.

The Housing Register is available to anyone 18 years of age or over who wish to apply for a property. However, due to a shortage of social housing, availability is usually limited to those who are in the most need.

Are you at risk of homelessness

The council can offer you an assessment of your housing circumstances and provide you with advice and assistance
