Electrical Waste
It is really easy to recycle your old electrical items. Please DO NOT place electrical items, batteries or vapes inside your bins, this can cause fires.
Put your small electrical item(s) in a carrier bag, tie up the bag and place it next to your waste (Green Bin) or recycling bin (Blue Bin) on your normal collection day. We ask for items to be at the side of the bin rather than the top for safety reasons, items could be knocked by passersby or blown off in the wind.
Space for electrical items is limited on the lorries so please present items when you have them rather than storing and presenting several items together. If more than one bag is put out for collection it will be at the discretion of the collector and the space available on the truck.
By putting the items in a carrier bag this contains the items neat and tidy and enables you to gauge the size of the items that we can take. Please remember - items that are too large or not listed below will not be collected.
