- Rent Increase 2026/27

For 2026/27, the Council is proposing to increase council housing rents by 4.8% from 6 April 2026. This compares to an increase of 2.7% in 2025/26.
Cannock Chase Council invites you to send in your views about the proposals, as the Council’s Cabinet will consider any views shared before deciding what rent increase is applied.For further information and to view Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), please visit our Rent Increase 2026/27 webpage.
