Tenant & Leaseholder Review Panel

The Tenant & Leaseholder Review Panel is a group of tenants who volunteer their time to look into the Housing services that the Council provides and report back on what they have found.

Our panel of like-minded Tenants and Leaseholders are reviewing areas of Housing Services to help us better tailor them to our customers’ needs. By examining data, policies, procedures and meeting with our staff, the panel take an independent view of our performance against the standards tenants expect and hold us to account. The panel then make recommendations on how the service could be improved.

What is a Review Panel?

A group of tenants and leaseholders working together to review, challenge and improve the services provided by Cannock Chase Council. We make sure tenant and leaseholder voices are heard and help drive a positive change.  

The Panel sits below the Housing Board in our engagement framework and provides another option for tenants and leaseholders to get involved.

With no prior experience needed, panel members have been offered training courses to help further their experience.

The panel are currently reviewing the Housing Services webpages as their first topic. We will keep this page updated with the minutes from each meeting so that you can track their progress and also view their final report when completed.
